Corporate Social Responsibility
As part of our corporate social responsibility, SmartBrains has been involved with several social issues to bring a change in people’s lives. Understanding our responsibility towards the society and to contribute in a big way, SmartBrains has been working actively with several social campaigns and initiatives to spread awareness on the importance of education, skill development and livelihood. Our team has joined hands in organizing various programs and activities organized by several PSU’S/corporate organization on timely basis. It seeks to make underprivileged unskilled and/or semi-skilled individuals, skilled members of the workforce such that they are able to earn better wages that contributes in improving their quality of life. Smartbrains follows a rigorous and systematic approach for planning and implementing the CSR projects in skill development projects. The intervention framework is developed on the basis of the organizational vision, need assessment of the targeted geography and learning’s from best practices of similar initiatives. It is evolved on the basis of a socio-economic baseline study and an assessment of stakeholder needs and aspirations, risks and opportunities, identifying areas and opportunities for shared value creation and leveraging of government initiatives SmartBrains is actively engaged in implementing an array of skills development, youth empowerment, women empowerment and environmental development projects under various government schemes and corporate/PSU.
CSR initiative aimed at:
“Skill development (youth empowerment): Entrepreneurship is responsible for co-ordination of all skill development efforts across the country, removal of disconnect between demand and supply of skilled manpower, building the vocational and technical training framework, skill up-gradation, building of new skills, and innovative thinking for jobs.
Women empowerment: Educational attainment and economic participation are the key constituents in ensuring the empowerment of women. Women will then have access to well paid jobs, or enhance their ability to influence changes to create a better society. Corporate Social Responsibility can provide education as well as information on political, legal and economic issues and awareness on health aspects too through our programmes.
Environment Development: our business and our ongoing responsibility is to ensure that everyone has access to energy, in an environment that is protected. As a part of CSR activity we are creating a awareness and responsibility of a particular citizen towards keeping the environment safe and secure.
